"Bad Hair Life," a one-hour, first-person documentary about trichotillomania (the compulsion to pull out one's hair). Millions of people--from infants to grandparents--experience an uncontrollable compulsion to pull out their hair, strand by strand, resulting in bare spots or even total baldness. "Bad Hair Life" explores this often deeply secretive disorder which afflicts nearly 2% of Americans. A Q&A session led by Dr. David Dia, Ph.D., an assistant professor at UT Knoxville and an expert in the field, will follow.
