We had a fantastic time at our Harry Potter celebration! 16 students in 4th and 5th grade attended this program. We first used the sorting hat to assign each student to either Griffindor or Slytherin. Then we worked on the craft: an origami Golden Snitch that was used to play a relay game between Griffindor and Slytherin residents. It was so much fun that we had to play the game again! The kids guessed how many jelly beans were in the Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans jar. The winner guessed 1500. There were aproximately 1575 jelly beans in the jar. She was very close!
