Calling all parents, grandparents, retirees, and book lovers:

Are you looking for something meaningful and relaxing to do on weekday mornings? Consider volunteering in the library's Children's Department! We need help shelving children's materials, and these shifts are open: Mondays from 10:00 - 12:00, and Thursdays from 10:00 - 12:00. Friendliness and a love of books is required. Experience is not.

Shelving books is good exercise, and you might not enjoy this if you have trouble with your knees or back. But it WILL tone your legs and give you a good reason to visit the library every week!

If you'd like to help, please complete a volunteer application and drop it off at our Circulation Desk, or contact the volunteer coordinator, Jen Wooters.
