Four Week Guided Meditation Class Series

The benefits of a meditation practice are almost too good to be true: Improved focus and sense of well-being, lower blood pressure, even structural changes in the brain. But as anyone who has tried meditation can tell you, for something so simple, it's not always easy! 

This 4 week series is designed to help you establish your own perfect practice at home in a lighthearted way, while guiding you through a 30 minute meditation in each class.

Dates: Four consecutive Wednesdays. February 13, 20, 27, and March 6.
Time: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

About the Presenter: Theresa Asmussen, licensed  massage therapist and registered yoga  teacher, has been practicing yoga and meditation for over a decade, studying many different forms and styles of yoga  before becoming a registered Kripalu Yoga teacher in 2007. For the past 3 years, Theresa has been studying the uses of yoga and meditation in therapeutic settings, holding certifications in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation, and Adaptive Yoga in military settings.
