Making the Call

Making the Call

Monday, June 20, 1-2 PM

Presenter: Tim Beard

Officiating is much more than what the public views during the three-hour football games each week on TV. Join us for a presentation from Line Judge Tim Beard where he will enlighten us as to what goes on behind officiating a football game.

Tim is starting his 36th year officiating with 3 years in the Mid South Conference, 9 years in the Ohio Valley Conference, 2 years in the Sunbelt Conference, and 9 years in the Southeastern Conference. In addition, he is an instructor at several college football officials’ clinics each year where he works with officials to improve their on-field skills.
