Harry Potter’s Birthday Celebration

Sunday, July 31, 2-4 p.m.

The Chamber of Knowledge has an afternoon of fun in store for you as we celebrate Harry’s birthday! We’ll have Quidditch matches on the front lawn as well as stations inside the library. Quidditch matches will start every 20 minutes beginning at 2pm. Registration is required to play Quidditch and matches will be divided by age. Inside the library we will have plenty of stations with fun and educational activities. Be sure to register for the bash so we know how many muggles to expect! Over 450 people attended Severus Snape’s Birthday Bash and Chapter Kick-Off in January. This is another birthday not to be missed. Help change the world and local community through the power of story.

Chamber of Knowledge Update

Hello Muggles and Wizards!

We have been hard at work laying out the groundwork for our Harry Potter Alliance Chapter. The Chamber of Knowledge is one step closer to being official! As we complete training, we have some more information for you and dates to mark on your calendars.

First Chapter Meeting
When: Sunday, March 13th at 2pm
Where: The Brentwood Library

Agenda:
•Ratifying the Chapter's Constitution

•Elections of Prefect (President) and Vice-Prefect (Vice-President)

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone you know (ages 15 and older) to be considered for Prefect or VP, send an owl to kersten.fons@brentwoodtn.gov with:
Name, Age, Email, Phone number, Hogwarts house

The Prefect position will be a 2 year term, with the first year in an active role and the second year in an advisory role. The Vice-Prefect position will be a 2 year term, with the first year active as V-P and the second year active as Prefect.

The Prefect and Vice-Prefect will be able to form subcommittees for Secretary, Community Relations, Social Media, and other important wizarding roles. There will be a Library Liaison, a Teen Liaison, and a Friends of the Library Liaison who will serve as Officers.

Make a note of these upcoming events or your remembrall will fill with smoke!
