Basket Weaving - Garlic Pouch 

Saturday, June 18, 1-3:30 p.m. 

Class fee: $15. Registration required.

  

Learn the ancient basket weaving technique called twining and then use your new skills to make a unique hanging basket for garlic or other small items. No experience necessary. This class is for ages 15 and older.

Susan Vandyke has over 30 years experience making baskets and teaching art. She is certified as an Art Teacher and as a School Librarian. Susan has a Master of Arts in Teaching in Art Education from Belmont University.

Personalize and create your own journal with Mixed Media techniques. MC Sparks will lead the class as each person creates a cover and decorated title page. Participants will learn the basics of book binding. All supplies are included. This class is for adults only.

Calling all crafters! The Brentwood Library invites you to join us for an evening of unstructured crafting time. Are you working on a project? Bring your own materials and share in the love of crafting with others who share your passion. Paper crafting, scrapbooking, knitting, embroidery, whatever it is that you do, come do it with us! Please bring your project and tools with you. 

There will not be an instructor, but we will be talking all things craft with fellow crafters.
