Local Author Book Fair

Local Author Book Fair

Free event. No registration Required.
The Brentwood Library is pleased to host this event which will showcase local authors while providing a venue for you, our local readers, to connect with them. We will have a screenwriting workshop, multiple authors who will speak about their books, and time for you to visit with them and purchase their books.

Meet the author, and enjoy local history.

Author John M.Oden Sr. will be selling and signing his book The Brentwood I Remember, which depicts the people, businesses, and events that gave birth to the vibrant City of Brentwood, Tennessee.  Mr. Oden says, "All of my life I have been involved in the business, church and social life of Brentwood, except for the 13 months I spent in Germany in 1954 and 1955 while serving in the United States Army.  Most of the people, places and things written about in my book have never been written about before." Give the gift of local history this year!

Local Author Book Fair

The Brentwood  Library is pleased to offer the 1st Annual Author Book Fair featuring local authors.  Participating authors will be autographing and selling their books! Thirty minute author chat sessions will be scheduled throughout the day in the Brentwood Room. Authors will read from their books and/or give a special presentation on a specific topic.

Countdown to An Evening at the Library: Three More Days!

An Evening At the Library, sponsored by the Brentwood Library Foundation, is in just three days! Enjoy an entertaining literary event with elegant music, a cocktail dinner, and an opportunity to meet notable authors. Meet Phil Valentine, filmmaker Howard Klausner, novelist Dr. Paul D. Parsons, and writer Sigmund Brouwers. Mark your calendar for Friday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Meet Author Barry Jones

He is a member of the ExploraStory group that meets monthly at Rock Castle in Hendersonville, and is also a member of the Tennessee Storytelling Association.
