Avast, Me Hearties! Talk (and Dress!) Like a Pirate Day is Next Wednesday.

In honor of Talk Like a Pirate day, the staff of the Brentwood Library will be decked out in their best pirate finery on Wednesday, September 19! Be ye a captain or a scurvy land lubber, we encourage ye t'dress up and join us!

Even the littlest deck scrubbers can dress up when they attend Children's Story Time that morning. Until then, ye can practice your arrrrrrrrs! and sing this sea shanty:

I'm a pirate! That I be!
I sail me ship upon the sea!
I stay up late - till half past three!
And that's a peg below me knee!
