Women today face unbearable pressure to have a beautiful, clean, organized home, as well as the ability to cook delicious, well-balanced meals for their family and look like a fashion model in the process. Endless television programs repeatedly show us how easy it is to be a professional chef, accomplished designer, weekend architect, and an all-round hospitality expert. Women feel pulled in more directions than ever before. In the end, what is truly important for families today? Can we still make time for friends, family, neighbors and others who need us while we balance everything else? Being hospitable doesn’t mean hours of time for others; just well-intentioned, purposeful actions. Hospitality is an attitude, a condition of the heart that we are called to share with others.
