Why Not Donate?

Spring cleaning? Moving? Have your kids outgrown picture books or Harry Potter? Did you buy a movie or music CD that you no longer want? Why not donate your new, like new, and gently used books and media to the Friends of the Brentwood Library?

We take donations all year and would be delighted to help your unwanted books, DVDs, CDs, audio books, video games, puzzles, and more find new homes. The FOBL holds a quarterly book sale (the next one is in July!) and sells on Amazon.com to raise funds for the library. Some items also wind up in the library collection!

You don't need to be a patron to donate, so tell your friends, family, and neighbors: We take donations! And we're taking them right now for the July book sale. We'll happily provide a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

Stop by with your donations anytime we're open. For more information, call 615-371-0090, ext. 8120.

Steinway Initiative

Elaine Zhang, Claire Zang, and Rina Xu are three of the children who took turns filling our lobby with beautiful music on Monday, December 8th. The Brentwood Library has a privately owned Steinway piano on loan on which piano students may schedule a  performance.

The library hopes to acquire a Steinway of our very own for more community music performances, but we need your help. Please consider donating to our Steinway Initiative. You may click here for more information.

You have two ways to help the library. You can select Brentwood Library Foundation or Friends of the Brentwood Library. Both organizations directly support The Brentwood Library. We would not be able to offer many of our fantastic programs without their financial assistance. We hope that you will help us by linking up with AmazonSmile!
