Teen Summer Programs

Has the excitement of summer freedom worn off? Are you beginning to get bored with all your free time? Then come to the library and spend your days learning, creating and, most importantly, having fun!

Here are some teen opportunities:

Tie-Dye Night
This Thursday, July 9, teens are invited to a tie-dye party. The party starts at 6 PM and shirts will be provided. To register, contact Amanda Street: streeta@brentwood-tn.org.

Book Haters
You may like to forget that school exists during the summer, but these book discussion groups are a must for those of you with school summer reading lists. Our discussion groups will review books from high school and middle school reading lists and help you understand what you've read. Even better, all participants get free pizza! So, check out the groups below and register soon because seats are limited.

Middle School Book Haters: July 20, 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
Books for discussion: Harris and Me, Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, and The Lightning Thief

High School Book Haters: July 20, 5:30 PM-6:30 PM
Books for discussion: Jane Eyre, Chew On This, and Fahrenheit 451
