This patriotic story of composer George M Cohan is on the AFI’s Top 100 Films list, and was nominated for 8 Academy Awards. The cast includes James Cagney, Walter Huston, Joan Leslie, and Rosemary De Camp.

It was filmed just after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 and early 1942, and won 3 Academy Awards including Best Actor.
