Moonlight Madness Summer Reading Program Sneak Preview

Was it the Southern Diva with the Poisoned Envelope in the Brentwood Room?

Or was it the Master Gardener with the Stiletto Heel in the Teen Room?

This year's summer reading program for adults is our most exciting ever! Called Moonlight Madness, it's modeled after the game Clue. When you sign up for the summer reading program, you'll receive a detective kit with cards depicting the characters and weapons. Read a book in a specific genre to "enter a room" and make a guess. If you solve the mystery, you'll be entered in a drawing to win prizes! All Moonlight Madness participants must be age 18 or over and a Brentwood Library cardholder.

Do you like to write? Library patrons age 13 and up who write a short story about a character, weapon, and room from Moonlight Madness will be entered to win the Grand Prize--a Kindle Fire! Writing contest guidelines are available upon registering for the Summer Reading Program.

Detectives, get your library cards ready! Summer Reading Program registration begins on June 1st.
