Join us for our November Book Discussions! These discussions are open to the public, and you don't need to register in advance. Just read the book and come prepared to meet new people and take part in a lively discussion.

The Evening Book Discussion Group is reading Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood. Amazon says, "In Alias Grace, bestselling author Margaret Atwood has written her most captivating, disturbing, and ultimately satisfying work since The Handmaid's Tale. She takes us back in time and into the life of one of the most enigmatic and notorious women of the nineteenth century. Grace Marks has been convicted for her involvement in the vicious murders of her employer, Thomas Kinnear, and Nancy Montgomery, his housekeeper and mistress... Now serving a life sentence, Grace claims to have no memory of the murders. Dr. Simon Jordan listens to her story while bringing her closer and closer to the day she cannot remember. What will he find in attempting to unlock her memories?" The Evening Book Discussion Group meets on Wednesday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m.

The Morning Book Discussion Group is reading Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. Scott Turrow says, "This graceful, assured first novel tells the remarkable story of the long-lived affair between Frank Lloyd Wright, a passionate and impossible figure, and Mamah Cheney, a married woman whom Wright beguiled and led beyond the restraint of convention. It is engrossing, provocative reading." The Morning Book Discussion Group meets on Tuesday, November 26 at 10:00 a.m.
