Introducing Pilates at the Library!

The Brentwood Library is proud to announce that we are adding Pilates classes to our regular line-up of programs!

Adding Pilates to your exercise routine will benefit your overall well-being in numerous ways. This class will go through a series of traditional Pilates exercises that will improve your core strength, increase your flexibility, create better postural alignment, develop your balance and give you a wider range of motion. Pilates is excellent for all ages and all levels of fitness, as the instructor will modify the class based on your needs and abilities. Please bring your own mat if you have one.

Instructor Maria Guse is a Romana's Pilates certified instructor. She completed a 600 hour certification program with Romana Kryzanowska, who was a direct protege of Joseph Pilates, the inventor of Pilates. Maria has been teaching Pilates for ten years and recently moved to Brentwood, where she teaches both private lessons and mat classes.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. To register, go to our events calendar and select the date you wish to register for. Click on it and follow the instructions.
