Computer Classes at The Brentwood Library


We are pleased to offer free computer classes to our adult patrons. Laptops are provided and all classes take place in our Computer Lab at the library. Adults age 18 and older are welcome to register for as many classes as you would like.

(We DO ask that you call the library as soon as possible if you find you are not able to attend a class you are registered for so we may fill your slot from the waiting list. "No shows" will be charged $5.)

Current classes include:


Introduction to Computers on either Tuesday June 3rd or June 17th from 1-3pm.

Microsoft Word for Beginners on Thursday June 12th from 1-3pm. (Prerequisite: Introduction to Computers class or must be proficient with a mouse and have a good understanding of keyboard editing keys.)

Microsoft Word II on Tuesday May27th or Thursday June 26th from 1-3pm.




Excel for Beginners on Wednesday May 14th, Thursday May 22nd, Wednesday June 11th, or Wednesday June 25th from 1-3pm. (Prerequisite: Introduction to Computers class or must be proficient with a mouse and have a good understanding of keyboarding editing keys.)






Powerpoint for Beginners on Tuesday May 20th or Tuesday June 24th from 1-3pm. (Prerequisite: Introduction to Computers class or must be proficient with a mouse and have a good understanding of keyboard editing keys.)
