The Brentwood Library is excited to be hosting a Festival kickoff party on July 12th from 6-8pm. The first lineup for the 26th annual Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word will be revealed.
The reception will include announcement of confirmed authors, door prizes, and refreshments. Please let Humanities Tennessee know if you plan to attend by completing the RSVP by July 10th.
The Festival is one of the oldest and largest book festivals in the nation, welcoming more than 200 authors and 25,000 visitors to Legislative Plaza and the Nashville Public Library each year. It is a free event and will be held October 10-12, 2014.
"We're so thrilled that Brentwood Library has offered its beautiful space to help us kick off the Festival," said Serenity Gerbman, Festival director. "We're thrilled to share the first list of confirmed authors at this party, and we think readers will be excited to hear who's coming in for the Festival."
