Williamson Loves Libraries Night

The Brentwood Library hosted Williamson Loves Libraries Night on Thursday, January 28. Twelve Brentwood school librarians and their mascots were stationed throughout the library to promote their libraries. Fifty-six visitors played a “passport” game to receive stamps from each station to receive prizes and goody bags. The Library plans to host a similar event annually.
The Library hosted the event in conjunction with County Mayor Rogers Anderson’s proclamation of January as Libraries of Williamson County Month, aiming at increasing public awareness of library resources and increasing support of libraries and librarians.

To celebrate this special month and get others excited about visiting their local library, WCS librarians worked together to record a lip-dub video.
