Masques (courtly entertainment featuring masked players)
was popular in 16th- and 17th-century England. The
Renaissance also saw the expanse of masks to elaborate masquerade balls,
eventually extending to from court affairs to upper society events to
semi-public festivities. In this class, we’ll have some fun making our own
masks. Registration required.
