Walk a Marathon!

Registration for Adult Summer Reading at the Brentwood Library begins Tuesday, May 31 and exclaims Exercise Your Mind: Read! Of course, exercising the body is also included. Walk a Marathon! is the first program on the roster, held in partnership with Patty Norem and the Williamson County Health Department.



Starting June 1, library staff and community members will meet in front of the Library weekdays at 8:30am, Saturdays at 9:30am, and Sundays at 12:30pm to walk a mile, maybe even two on some days, before the Library opens. Attending 26 days and Walk a Marathon! All ages are welcome. Participants are encouraged to wear sneakers. There’s no cost to participate.



Registration for the program is not required, but registrants will receive updates on topics such as: core exercises, hydration, healthy snacks, and packing healthy lunches.
