Getting Your Child Ready for Reading and Writing

Parents can
join us to learn developmental milestones for emergent literacy skills for
infants, toddlers, and pre-school children. Additionally, hands-on techniques and tips to support
development in these areas will be provided by an ASHA certified
Speech-Language Pathologist.
Stephanie
Aertssens M.S. CCC-SLP is an experienced ASHA certified Speech-Language
Pathologist. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 1992 with a
B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Nova Southeastern University
in 1994 with an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology.Most of her work has been in
the public school setting serving all ages and all abilities. She believes in
working with a child's strengths to build their weaknesses.
