Join the library Saturday, January 9th at 1 pm for a matinee showing of Rebecca, the gothic thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock. It's based on the book of the same name by Daphne du Maurier.
The film is a gothic tale about the lingering memory of the title character, which still affects Maxim, his new bride, and the housekeeper Mrs. Danvers long after her death. The film won two Academy Awards including Best Picture out of a total 11 nominations.
See if you can spot Hitchcock's cameo in the movie!
