Five is the magic number

Have a child turning five this summer? Around here that is cause for big celebration! Five years old is the magic age when children can get their first library card. To get their card, they need to bring their parent or guardian with them. The parent needs to have an official photo ID and proof of current address. (Accepted forms of address verification include driver’s license/permit, checkbook, bank statement, property lease, voter’s registration card, utility bill, or proof of updated address from the Tennessee Department of Safety.)

Below, library employee Jan shows Reese, our newest patron, information about her new library account.

*Individuals who pay City of Brentwood property taxes (either residential or business) may join The Brentwood Library with no annual fee.
*Individuals who live outside of the city limits, but within Williamson County may join for $50 annual fee.
*Individuals who live outside of Williamson County may join for a $65 annual fee.
