Kids Protection Planning

Join us for a Special Free Seminar on Estate Planning
Saturday, July 26th from 1-2pm

You are a great parent, but is something incomplete? Who will take care of your kids if something happens to you and will they be cared for the way you wish? Julie Cornell, a local estate planning attorney, will be giving us an overview of this topic where you will discover:
* The steps every parent should take to make sure their kids are protected.
* How to choose the right guardians for your children and make sure your children are never taken from your home or placed with strangers if something happens to you.
* How to make sure your assets are immediately and privately available to the people you've named to care for your children.
* Why a will alone is simply not enough to make sure your kids are taken care of the way you want, by the people you want, no matter what.

Presenter: Julie Cornell, Attorney and Counselor at Law, Cornell Law Group

Please register online or by calling Judy Payton at 615-371-0090 ext 8510.

Presenter bio:
Julie Cornell co-founded Cornell Law Group with a particular purpose in mind – to assist growing families in protecting their children, preserving their assets, and planning for the future. Julie seeks to establish ongoing relationships with her clients to make sure that their plans are kept up to date as their needs change.

Julie believes that estate planning is more than meeting with a lawyer for a couple of hours in order to sign some form documents that you don’t understand. It is about protecting what is most important to you and passing on your legacy – including your spiritual, intellectual, and human assets. Julie listens to each client and helps identify the client’s goals, needs, and concerns. She then creates a plan that ensures the safety and well-being of her clients and their children. Julie’s clients find peace of mind knowing that their plan will actually work when it needs to come into action.

Julie is a Knoxville, TN native and attended Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, CA before returning to Tennessee. She is an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Middle Tennessee, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Nashville Bar Association.
